Ready Set School (RSS) is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that all Winona County, MN children have the necessary school supplies and/or clothing for school.

Ready Set School is funded by public, private and business donations. All money donated goes directly to help children purchase school supplies. To make a donation, send a check to: Ready Set School, P.O. Box 499, Winona, MN 55987

To qualify to receive RSS assistance, students must meet several guidelines. They are:
* live or go to school in Winona County
* meet free or reduced lunch guidelines of the State of Minnesota
* be in grades K - 12
* a parent or legal guardian must complete a RSS application

Qualified students receive a voucher to spend like a gift card at participating retailers. Vouchers are valid only for school supplies and/or clothing. The amount of the voucher varies each year depending on the amount of donations and the estimated number of students applying for assistance.
