The First Annual “Ready Set Downtown” event on April 11 brought in a whopping $856.54!! All proceeds will be used to help Winona County students prepare for the upcoming school year. Big thanks to all the downtown businesses that made this possible : Yarnology, Blooming Grounds, Winona Bread & Bagel, Sammy’s Pizza, Nate & Ally’s Frozen Treat Creations, Beno’s Deli, Baker Shoes, and Heart’s Desire.
Big thanks to Freddy and Myrna Perez of Good Sport Bar & Grill for hosting Ready Set St Charles on May 8th. They presented us with a check for $120! Thanks also to the many who ate cheeseburgers for a good cause. All donations received by May 31 will go to Winona County students as they prepare for Fall 2017.
Winona Agency held “Jeans for a Cause” at their office on Friday April 28, with employees donating $5 to wear jeans to work. They raised a total of $316 and donated it to Ready Set School! Join us Monday May 8 from 5pm-9pm at Good Sport Bar & Grill in St. Charles! 10% of all proceeds will be donated to Ready Set School to help Winona County students get the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom. Good Sport is located at 149 E 6th St, St. Charles.
